We recently participated with the Lochaber Wind Bands in an orchestral workshop led by Nigel Boddice 16th/17th February 2008.

LMS 21st Birthday

In September we will celebrate our 21st Birthday with two weekend workshops, one in Oban and one in Fort William, culminating in a concert at the Nevis Centre, Fort William on the very appropriate 21st September. We want as many former LMS players as possible to join us, to make it a birthday to remember, and one which will launch us into the next 20 years!

Northern Periphery Cultural Community Business Project -

We recently took part in a 3 year, NPP-funded project which has seen us working closely with music organisations in northern Norway and Sweden.  Good things have come out of the project which we hope will be of lasting benefit to all the participating organisations.
